Off Balance Beanie

Using Diamond Luxury's Bamboo Cotton, this silky soft beanie is both a pleasure to knit and to wear!!  It uses just two balls of Bamboo Cotton, and is knit on two needles in a diagonal rib pattern.  Just enough of a challenge to keep your interest, and a great project for those looking to try out some new fibres!!

Cute Chicks

This one is crochet, so expand your skill set if you don't already 'hook', and give this one a go...

 Basic Crochet Hat

While teaching “Learn To Crochet” at Spun Fibre Arts, one of the most common requests is “can I make a hat”. When searching for an easy-to-read pattern proved more difficult that I had anticipated, I decided to create one myself and use an easy-to-use yarn. Feel free to play with the colour combinations, or just choose your favourite and make it all one colour!

Cowl at the Moon

A stylish neckwarmer for communing with nature or howling at the moon. This piece is done entirely in garter stitch using either one strand of worsted-weight yarn or two strands of a dk-weight yarn so it’s easy and has a lot of stretch. I have recommended seaming the cowl so you can just pull it over your head and go, but if you prefer, you could add buttons or even a zipper.

 Canada Pride Sweater

The Cowichan sweater has a time-honoured place in the pantheon of Canadian style so it should be no surprise that Team Canada's Vancouver Olympic hand-knit sweater has become a much requested classic.

Briggs & Little, Canada's oldest woolen mill supplied the yarn (Country Roving) and offers their twist on the iconic Cowichan sweater. Try knitting it using their domestic wool that your grandma and great-grandma used.
Youth and Adult sizes.
